MWC 2015: Lenovo brings budget LTE and Wi-Fi tablets

Lenovo today announced two Android tablets — Lenovo TAB 2 A8 and A10-70 — and a Windows tablet — ideapad MIIX 300 — at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015).

The company is offering both Wi-Fi and LTE models.

The price of Lenovo TAB 2 A10 will be nearly $199 for Wi-Fi models and $279 for LTE models.

Lenovo TAB 2 A8 will cost $129 for Wi-Fi models and $179 for LTE models. The price of Lenovo ideapad MIIX 300 will be $149.

TAB 2 A10-70 features 8.9mm thin, 509 grams weight, Android 4.4, a MediaTek quad core processor, dual band Wi-Fi and 8 MP rear camera. It comes in Pearl White or Midnight Blue.

The 8-in entry TAB 2 A8’s battery lasts through an eight-hour work day without plugging in and features a dual SIM card slot for voice and LTE for data. TAB 2 A8 features 5 MP rear camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, MediaTek 64-bit Quad Core processor, 32 GB storage via microSD card. It is available in Pearl White, Ebony, Midnight Blue or Neon Pink.

ideapad MIIX 300, a Windows tablet, is powered by an Intel Atom processor. It has up to 64 GB of internal eMMC storage, a microSD card reader for transferring media, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, dual cameras, and long battery life.
