Xiaomi is rumored to launch Mi 6X on April 25 in China. Reports suggest that the company has already sent the media invites for the launch event. The phone will be the successor of Mi 5X, which was launched last year. The smartphone was recently spotted on TENAA.
Notably, Mi 5X was also launched in India, which means Mi 6X might also debut in the country. The smartphone is said to come in India with the name of Mi A2.
The handset is expected to feature a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The leaks suggest that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4 or 6GB of RAM. There might be a three storage variants of the phone, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB.
In terms of OS, Xiaomi Mi 6X could run on the Android 8.0 Oreo on the top of MIUI 9. The device is expected to carry a 2,910mAh battery under the hood.
On the optics front, The Mi 6X could mark 20MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup and 20MP snapper. For connectivity, the smartphone is tipped to feature USB-C Type.
Talking about the price, the phone will cost around Rs 12,000 – Rs 15,000 in India.
