Xiaomi is all set to launch a smartphone in India under its new Pocophone series. Reports suggest that the phone named Xiaomi Pocophone F1 will soon be announced for India.
However, the launch date of the phone is not confirmed yet. If reports are to be believed further, the handset has already cleared the FCC certification process.
Rumors indicate that the Pocophone F1 will sport a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 2160×1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. There might also be a notch on the top of the screen. Powering the device will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with an Adreno 630 GPU. It could run on Android Oreo 8.1 based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box.
Storage wise, the phone might come up in two variants, 6GB RAM/64GB internal and 6 GB RAM/128GB storage. The device will be run by Android Oreo 8.1 based MIUI 9 out of the box.
On the optics front, Pocophone F1 could feature a dual-rear camera setup. Not much information regarding the camera is available yet.
The phone is expected to carry a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging. The handset is likely to cost between Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 in India.
