Xiaomi Mi3 will be out of stock as Redmi 1S gains focus in India

Just after the launch of Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the company has decide to discontinue sales for Xiaomi Mi3 temporarily.

It appears that Xiaomi will focus on Redmi 1S and will not hold flash sales for Xiaomi Mi3 smartphones in India.

Manu Jain, head of Xiaomi’s operations in India, said: “Over next few weeks, we will focus on Redmi 1S, and Mi 3 won’t be available. We will take the final call after few weeks, once we have more visibility / data points.”

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the sales of Redmi 1S will happen only through flash sales from official partner Flipkart.

Flipkart sold more than 95,000 units of Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone in India. It conducted six flash sales.

Some reports suggest that the latest Mi4 smartphone will hit the Indian market by the end of the year. The smartphone has been already released in the Chinese market.

The discontinued smartphone Xiaomi Mi3 is a good offering at a compelling price.
