Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Mi 8 Anniversary Edition in China on May 31. The company is also expected to launch products like Mi 7 smartphone, and the Mi Band 3 fitness band on May 31.

The company has already released the teaser of the phone. The handset is expected to debut in two variants. If reports are to be believed, these variants were recently spotted on China Compulsory Certification (3C) authority in China and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S with the codename M1805E2A, and M1803E1A.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is likely to feature a 6.01-inch OLED edge-to-edge display with the notch on the top. The notch will sport the sensors like – infrared lens, front camera, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, flood illuminator, Dot projector. Rumors suggest that the phone might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB of RAM.
The smartphone is likely to carry a 4,000mAh battery under the hood with wireless charging support. It will have a dual-rear camera on the back.
