Vivo has launched a number of smartphones recently including Vivo NEX. The company has now announced the Vivo Y81 in Taiwan. Notably, the phone looks similar to Y83 in terms of design. The Y81 is priced at VND 4,990,000 (around Rs. 15,000) via FPTShop in the country.
The phone is also expected to launch in Europe as it already passed Eurasian Economic Commision (EEC) certification. The launch of the device in India is not confirmed yet.
Talking about the specs and features, Vivo Y81 features a notched 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display with 720×1520 pixels,19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6762 processor, paired with an IMG GE8320 graphics.
Vivo Y81 has 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card. The handset runs on the FunTouch OS 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
On the optics front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with the same f/2.2 aperture and face unlock feature.
