Vivo X21: First smartphone with In-Display Fingerprint sensor in India

Vivo has launched the Vivo X21 in India on May 29. It is the first smartphone in India with an under-the-display fingerprint sensor. The handset is priced at Rs 35,990 and will be available on and as well as via selected offline stores across the country. Notably, X21 was first launched in China in March this year.

Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch FHD+ FullView Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2280 pixels. The phone has a 90.3-percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device runs on the FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The handset offers 128GB internal storage with the expandable option of up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup, 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, X21 has the same 12MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture and AI capabilities.

Vivo X21 will be available in black color only. It carries a 3200mAh battery under the hood.
