Smartphone major Samsung has showcased new Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7, the revamped models of its existing devices, at the Samsung Forum 2016 in Malaysia.

The Korean company is calling “the 2016 edition of Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7.”

Samsung aims to improve its smartphone presence with the launch of two new models with value additions. It is the undisputed smartphone market leader in India — ahead of Micromax, Intex, Lenovo, Apple and Microsoft.

The new Galaxy A5 smartphone comes with 5.2 inch FHD display. On the other hand, the new Galaxy A7 has a 5.5 inch FHD display.

Both Galaxy A5 and A7 come with 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera.

Samsung said Both Galaxy A5 and A7 smartphones support 4G LTE CAT6 networks.

Fingerprint sensor, Exynos octa core processor, Samsung Knoc security, Glass and metal body are the other main features of Galaxy A5 and A7.

Galaxy A7 comes with 3GB RAM and and 3300 mAh battery, while Galaxy A5 has 2GB RAM and 2900 mAh battery.

Samsung is offering both Galaxy A5 and A7 in Black, Gold and White colours.

The price of Galaxy A7 smartphone is Rs 33,400.

The price of Galaxy A5 is 29,400.

All two smartphone handset models have Android 5.1 Lollipop as operating system and have dual SIM options. The A7 has a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and packs an octa-core SoC with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of memory storage. A5 has most features similar to A7 with variations like the smaller 5.2-inch display and lower RAM at 2GB.
