The upcoming Galaxy Note 9 is rumored to be the costliest Samsung smartphone yet.
According to Forbes, WinFuture’s Roland Quandt says that the phablet’s pricing in Europe will start at €1050 ($1230) for a 128GB model with a flagship 512GB option costing €1250 ($1460). Notably, Galaxy Note 8 (64GB) was priced at under €900.
The flagship smartphone is reportedly launching on August 9. Before the launch, Note 9’s leaks and rumors are hovering on the internet. Recently, the handset in lilac purple color has been leaked online.
Galaxy Note 9’s S pen is said to be the highlight of it. It is rumored to feature a speaker, a microphone, and Bluetooth support. One can expect the phablet to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
On the processor front, the phone is certain to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM. It is speculated to house 4000 mAh battery.
It is worth mentioning that Note 9 could be last Note series smartphone as Samsung is said to be making two Galaxy S smartphones from the next year.
