Samsung Galaxy J8 now in India, to rival Xiaomi Note 5 Pro

Samsung Galaxy J8 smartphone is now available to buy in India. The phone is available via both offline and online retailers.

Samsung has recently launched the smartphone in India. The device comes in an only single variant, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage and priced at Rs 18,990 in the country. In this price segment, J8 will compete with Xiaomi Note 5 Pro.

The handset features a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. The phone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo with artificial intelligence.

The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera featuring 16MP+5MP sensors. On the front, there is a 16MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The handset also has a facial recognition and variable selfie flash feature. The camera is also able to detect object and scenes.

Samsung Galaxy J8 carries a 3500 mAh battery. It is available in Blue, Black, and Gold color options.
