Samsung has launched the Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China on June 7. The smartphones will go on sale starting June 15 in the country. Meanwhile, the company has not confirmed the launch of the handsets in India and around the world yet.
Galaxy A9 Star
The smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 31,600). A9 Star features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2220 pixels and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup with 16MP primary sensor with f/1,7 aperture and 24MP secondary sensor. On the front, the phone has a 24MP sensor with f/1.0 aperture and AI beauty features.
Galaxy A9 Star runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo. The company has also provided Bixby AI with the smartphone. It comes in Black and White color variants and packs 3700mAh battery.
Galaxy A9 Star Lite
The phone costs CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 21,100). A9 Star Lite carries a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2220 pixels and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, coupled with the same 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the phone has a dual rear camera setup with 16 MP + 5 MP sensors. On the front, smartphone sports 24 MP camera with a f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
The handset bears a 3,500 mAh battery and Dolby Atmos audio. It is available in Night Sky Black and Dark Blue color options.
