Redmi S2, the big budget phone, to launch on May 10 In China

After launching Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 pro in March, rumours suggest that Xiaomi is all set to launch its next big budget smartphone Redmi S2.

Recently, the smartphone was seen in a Mi Store in the Czech Republic. And now Xiaomi has released a teaser which states that the smartphone will launch on May 10 in China.

In terms of the design, Redmi S2 is likely to look like Note 5 pro and the Mi 6X. In terms of specifications, the phone will flaunt a 5.99-inch HD + display of 18:9 ratio. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC. Further, it will also sport a 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal memory, and 3GB RAM with 32 GB memory and 4GB RAM with 64 GB memory. So it will actually have three variants in all.

Apart from this, the phone is all set to have a dual rear camera set up with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel depth sensor. With this depth sensor, the camera will actually feel like a DSLR camera and its picture quality will also be great. Now about the battery, the phone may actually feature a 3, 080 mAh.
