OPPO A3s launched in India: know more about the budget phone

Oppo has announced the Oppo A3s in India. The smartphone falls in the budget category with the price tag of Rs 10990. Notably, the device was earlier unveiled in China last week. In India, the phone is already up for sale. A3s comes in sole variant only – 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The handset sports a 6.2-inch FullView display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen has an 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. As already mentioned, the phone has 16GB RAM that can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

OPPO A3s runs on Android 8.1 with ColorOS 5.1. Optics wise, it sports a dual camera setup, 13MP primary and 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and f/2.4 aperture respectively. On the front, the handset consists of an AI-enabled 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The camera also has Oppo’s AI Beauty Technology 2.0 feature.

The device also comes with Music Party feature that allows the user to increase the volume by using multiple smartphones. Furthermore, it packs a 4230 mAh battery.

In its price category, Oppo A3s will compete with Xiaomi Y2 and Honor 9 Lite. Stay tuned for more tech news and updates.
