OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T to get Face Unlock feature

OnePlus has recently launched OnePlus 6, which is doing pretty well in the market. Notably, OnePlus 6 users are getting an Oxygen 5.1.5 update with fixed issues. Meanwhile, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users are also set to receive the same update soon. The phones users can expect the features in batches.

The update will also come up with the Face Unlock, a feature that was launched with OnePlus 5T last year.  The feature will be available for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users in open beta versions. This update will not only focus on Face Unlock but will also come with the improved file manager, weather, launcher and other gallery apps.

Notably, Gallery will see a few changes where the users will be able to see a map-view of photos based on the locations they were taken at. New option to share photos to Shot-On-OnePlus is also supported. Users will see Oxygen OS 5.0.3 update in Settings> Systems update. One can also download the update from OnePlus forums. A backup of the data is essential before the update.
