HMD Global backed Nokia has unveiled the Nokia X5 smartphone in China. The handset is priced at at CNY 999 (around Rs 10,200) for 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage and CNY 1,399 (around Rs 14,300) for 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The storage in the both models can be expanded via Micro SD card.
Nokia X5 is the company’s second phone after X6 with a notch display. The device sports a 5.86-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 720 by 1520 pixels and 2.5D glass on top. The screen comes with 84-percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek’s Helio P60 octa-core SoC, paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo and will be upgradable to the upcoming Android P.
Nokia X5 has a dual-rear camera setup, comprising a 13MP f/2.0 primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. The selfie camera has 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide viewing angle. Additionally, the optics also comes with features like facial recognition, AI Portraits and Beauty mode.
It is fuelled by a 3,060mAh battery under the hood. The launch of the Nokia X5 in India is not confirmed yet.
