Nokia 3.1: Nokia’s latest budget offering in India

HMD Global has announced the Nokia 3.1 in India. The phone was earlier launched in Moscow, Russia.

Nokia has priced the device at Rs. 10,499 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB internal storage, which is the sole variant in India. It will be available for purchase starting July 21 via retailers and online through Paytm Mall and Nokia online store.

The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750N SoC. As already mentioned, the phone is only available in 2GB RAM variant in India, but it also comes in 3GB RAM model in other countries.

The handset’s 16GB internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone runs stock Android 8.0 out of the box. It will be also eligible for the next Android update, Android P.

Optics wise, Nokia 3.1 carries a single 13MP autofocus sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The device has an 8MP fixed focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 84.6-degrees field-of-view.

The handset house a 2,990mAh battery. It will be available in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome, and White/Iron color options.
