Motorola’s RAZR is coming back – and it’s foldable

Flip phones are back in style?

The best-selling clamshell phone in the world is making a comeback – but it’s more like a foldable phone than a flip phone.

According to a patent discovered by 91Mobiles, the phone has a foldable screen with a smaller secondary screen on the outside, to be used when folded in half. The rumoured device doesn’t have a physical keyboard, unlike the original RAZR series of phones, but a foldable touch screen.

From the pictures, we can see that the phone has a finger print scanner, the RAZR chin and a notch on top of the display. It does keep with the trends of smartphones of this time, while maintaining the retro RAZR look.

Motorola is planning to launch the new RAZR at a price tag of $1,500 next month, according to The Wall Street Journal.
