Motorola has not launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play on May 21. If previous reports are to be believed, the G-series smartphones were expected to unveil in the country on May 21.
The company has now confirmed that the handsets will be launched on 4 June. Both the devices were earlier launched in Brazil in April this year.
Talking about Moto G6, the handset might come up with two variants 3GB and 4GB. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The smartphone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo and carries a 3000mah battery.
In terms of optics, the device features a dual-rear camera with 12MP + 5MP sensors with f/1.8 and f/2.2 aperture respectively. On the front, the phone has 8 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture.
On the other hand, the Moto G6 Play features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor coupled with 2 or 3GB RAM. The handset runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and bears a 4000mAh battery.
On the camera front, G6 Play sport a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front facing camera comes with a 5MP sensor.
