Micromax launches Canvas Fire 4 at Rs 6,999

Micromax has launched its Canvas Fire 4 smartphone. The device is priced at Rs. 6,999. The device offers a slim design and measures 8.8 mm in thickness.

The highlight of the device is dual front firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) digital analogue converter.

The new smartphone sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has an LED notification light on the back panel and comes with multiple built-in applications.

The device comes with a bundle of apps such as M! Live, M! games, Language Solution, Clean Master, App Center, Dr. safety,  Snapdeal, Saavn, Ask me, Chaatz, Newshunt, Paytm,   Quickr, MAD.

It has 32GB of expandable memory via microSD card and is juiced by a 2000mAh which offers up to 300 hours of backup on standby.

On the connectivity front, the phone offers Bluetooth 4.0/USB/Wi-Fi.

Micromax has also recently unveiled its Canvas Selfie smartphone priced at Rs 15,999 in Indian market.

The device was announce in December last year and will go on sale for the customers. The smartphone features a faux leather rear finish.

The Canvas Selfie sports a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM.

The device has a 13MP rear as well as front camera, both accompanied by LED flash modules and Sony sensors.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It is backed up by a 2300mAh battery.
