This year many entry-level smartphones have been launched in the market. These phones work on Android Oreo’s Go version which is designed specifically for phones that are low on RAM and memory. Nokia 1 and Lava Z50 run on this Android version and to give them a competition Micromax has launched Micromax Bharat Go in India which also runs on the same Android Oreo Go. Bharat Go rivals Nokia 1 since both these phones are similar to each other with some small differences.
In terms of specs, Bharat Go and Nokia 1 come with same 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of storage. They sport a 4.5-inch display and run on similar software. In terms of battery, Nokia 1 has a 2,150 mAh battery while Bharat Go has a 2,000 mAh battery. On the processor front, The Bharat Go is powered by a quad-core chip. on the other hand, Nokia 1 is powered by the 1.1GHz quad-core processor.
In terms of camera, Bharat Go offers 5-megapixel sensor both on the front and back, while Nokia 1 sports 2-megapixels on the front and 5- megapixels on the rear. Talking about OS, both smartphones feature Android 8.1.
In terms of price, Bharat Go will launch at Rs.4,399 and Airtel to provide a Rs.2,000 cashback on the phones, bringing the price down to Rs.2,399. This is a big win for Micromax since Nokia’s phone will be quite pricey in that way.
