Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite at the Xiaomi global launch event in Spain on July 24. Notably, the Chinese company has confirmed that Mi A2 will be launched in India, while the Mi A2 Lite will not debut in the country.
The company has priced the Mi A2 Lite at EUR 179 (around Rs. 14,500) for the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant and EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 18,400) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model. It will be available for purchase starting August 10 in Spain via online as well as the offline medium.
The smartphone sports a notched 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2280 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 3GB or 4GB RAM. The phone runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
In the optics department, the handset features a dual rear camera setup, 12MP primary sensor, and a 5MP secondary camera. There is a 5MP camera on the front with AI Portrait Mode. The camera comes with the AI Scene Recognition feature.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has a 4,000mAh battery. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options.
