Meizu M6T to launch as Flipkart exclusive, to compete with Redmi 5

Meizu has still a long way to go in the Indian smartphone market. The company has a limited number of handset models currently available in the country. Meanwhile, the Chinese smartphone maker is now preparing to launch Meizu M6T in the Indian market. Reports suggest that the phone will be a Flipkart exclusive.

The device is expected to be priced around Rs 9,000 – Rs 11,000. In this price category, M6T is likely to rival the Xiaomi Redmi 5, which is one of India’s highest selling smartphones in recent time.

The Meizu M6T features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU. The handset has two variants; 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat on the top of Flyme OS 6.2.

In terms of optics, Meizu M6T bears a dual rear camera setup, 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The device has an 8MP camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone houses a 3,300mAh non-removable battery.
