Apple iPhone 7 to come in three variants

According to few leaks, Apple’s much anticipated smartphone, the iPhone 7 will be launched in three variants. A new pictured surfaced online revealing a new variant of the device.

Earlier it was expected that the device will come in two variants, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Recently, Mobipicker posted a picture that suggests there might be another variant.

The new variant might be dubbed as iPhone 7 Pro or iPhone 7 Plus Premium. There is no info about what new features the new variant will sport.

Recently Apple suppliers, Foxconn and Pegatron opened up for urgent mass hiring of workers, which indicates that the company needs more employees for the production of the new variant.

Previous leaks suggest that the upcoming iPhone 7 will be a minor upgrade over the previous variant. Some analysts claim that the device will not offer many new features.

However there are rumors piling up about the new iPhone featuring a Force Touch home button on the display, and will be dust and water proof.

9to5Mac suggest that the virtual home button might use haptic feedback motors just like the Force Touch trackpad of the MacBook.

The report also suggests that Apple might bring a matte black colour for the iPhone 7 chassis. This is supposed to be darker than the Space Grey colour.

Other reports suggest that Apple will be dropping the aluminium casing for its upcoming iPhone and will be using a ‘all glass’ enclosure with AMOLED screen.
