HTC expands Desire smartphone range in the U.S

HTC has announced the wider availability of their Desire series by launching Desire 610 and Desire 816 for the customers of the US.

The two phones had been on sale in various locations in Europe and the rest of the world before now, but will soon show up on Virgin Mobile among other carriers. These HTC phones are not just affordable but also featured packed.

Features of HTC Desire family:

The Desire 610 has a 4.7-inch display and 854 x 480 resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon processor, and 1GB of memory, along with 8GB of storage and a memory card slot. It has a 8-megapixels and records 1080p video, while it comes with 1.3-megapixel front camera.

The HTC Desire 816 has a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 display and a 1.6GHz quad core Snapdragon. It has 1.5GB RAM. It has 8GB of storage, but can handle twice the microSD capacity than the Desire 610, with up to 128GB. It has 13MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front camera.

Both the smartphones have BoomSound speakers with HTC Sense 6 and HTC BlinkFeed.
