HTC has unveiled its new One X9 smartphone. The company made the announcement through its Weibo account. The smartphone is priced at CNY 2,399. The company is yet to announce the availability of the device globally.
The device comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1080*1920 pixel resolution and pixel density of 410ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
It is powered by 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, clubbed with 3GB of RAM. It runs on company’s own Sense UI wrapped under Android OS and also offers dual SIM functionalities.
The device bears a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with 2nd-gen OIS that can detect body shake in 0.125 milliseconds, a BSI back-illuminated sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, and LED-flash.
It can also record videos in 4K resolution and take pictures in Raw format.
The smartphone also packs a 5MP front facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 24.7mm lens, and can record videos in full-HD resolution.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. It also features ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, g-motion sensor, compass, gyroscope, and a magnetic sensor.
The HTC One X9 is juiced by a 3000mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 15 hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of HD video playback, and up to 40 hours of audio playback. It also supports fast charging as well.
The audio is powered by Dolby Audio technology. It will ship in Gunmetal Grey and Silver colour options.
