Huawei has added another smartphone to its portfolio. The company has unveiled Honor 9i (2018) in China. The device is said to be the successor of Honor 9i, launched last year. The smartphone has two storage variants, 64GB and 128GB with Black, Blue, Green, and Purple color options.
Honor 9i (2018) is already available for purchase. It is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 14,500) for the 64GB storage and CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 17,800) for 128GB storage variant. The launch of the smartphone in India is not confirmed by the company.
The phones sport a notched 5.84-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1080×2280 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, paired with Mali T830-MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. The device runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo on the top of EMUI 8.0. The 9i packs a 3000mAh battery and fingerprint sensor on the back.
In terms of optics, the handset carries a dual rear camera setup with 13MP+2MP sensors with features like PDAF HDR, time-lapse, and burst mode. The front facing camera is of 16MP with beauty mode.
