Flipkart to sell Spice smartphones in India 

Spice has announced its partnership with India’s largest e-commerce website, Flipkart. The company will launch its flagship products exclusively through Flipkart.

Flipkart will start selling Spice’s flagship products from September and aims to sell around 100,000 smartphones in initial few days.

Spice has some key products that it will launch through Flipkart and also looking at an exclusive online store on Flipkart’s portal.

Spice will have a dedicated online store on Flipkart for its products and the users will have a number of options to choose from.

The company is looking forward to grab 10 percent of the market share of the overall online sales for smartphones.

Flipkart is already an established e-commerce website in the Indian market and has a major share in smartphone sales amongst all e-commerce portals and treats Spice as an invaluable global vendor and partner.

Spice and Flipkart expects to provide the users with different  choice of products with best in class experience and after sales service.

Recently, Spice announced the first Firefox OS based smartphone, Spice Fire One Mi – FX1 at a price of Rs 2,299.

The smartphone was first launched exclusively on Snapdeal for a short time and was later made available through retail stores, Spice HotSpot stores.

It is a 2G dual SIM enabled smartphone which comes with a 1 GHz processor, 2.5 G connectivity, 8.89 cm HVGA capacitive touch screen and 2MP primary camera + 1.3 MP front camera.

The device comes preloaded with social networking and instant messaging apps like Facebook, Twitter and Connect A2.
