Asus ROG gaming phone with 8GB RAM, 512GB storage to launch soon

ASUS has launched a number of smartphones in India recently. The company is now launching ROG smartphone soon in India.

ASUS has recently announced the phone at Computex event in Taiwan. If reports are to be believed, the device might debut in India in September this year.

Specs and features

Asus ROG features a 6-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display offers 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone has an 8GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs on the Android Oreo 8.1.

The phone comes with a side-mounted port and programmable ultrasonic AirTrigger sensors. Furthermore, it offers a TwinView Dock, Mobile Desktop Dock, and Gamevice controller with WiGig Dock

In terms of optics, ASUS ROG sports a 12MP+8MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP sensor on the front.

The gaming phone carries two USB ports and dual speakers. It houses a 4000mAh battery with ‘Hypercharge’ technology, which can charge a 60-percent battery in 33 minutes as per the company.
