Alcatel Flash has launched its Flash 2 smartphone in the Indian market. The device is priced at Rs 9,299 and will be selling exclusively through the e-commerce website Flipkart.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display with 720×1280 screen resolution with 5-point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. It is powered by a a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720MP4 GPU.
The highlight of the device is its 13MP gSight camera accompanied by a dual tone flash and Phase Detection Autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. It supports autofocus and up to 4 times digital zoom, and can record videos in full-HD video resolution. It bears a ‘realtone’ flash module.
It comes paired with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded by via microSD card (up to 128GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
On the front side, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and support for autofocus and Beauty Mode, and V Gesture recognition features. The front-camera also features an LED flash module.
It is juiced by a 3000mAh battery which claims to last for 25 hours on a single charge on 2G network.
On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM dual-standby capable Alcatel Flash 2 supports Indian 4G bands, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB.
