Alcatel 1 Android Go spotted online: What to expect?

Alcatel is reported to launch a budget smartphone, Alcatel 1 powered by Android Go. The phone has been recently spotted online. Notably, the company has already launched an Android Go smartphone, Alcatel 1X at MWC 2018.

For those who are unaware of it, Android Go is the Google’s OS dedicated to the budget smartphones.

The handset is expected to feature a 5-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It might be powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor. The device is also likely to run on the Go edition of Android 8.1 Oreo. Rumors further suggest that the handset will come up with LTE support and dual-SIM functionality

On the storage front, the device is speculated to carry 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further via Micro SD card.

In terms of optics, Alcatel 1 could sport a 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera. The phone is further expected to house a 2000mAh battery. It might be available in Black, Blue, and Gold.
