ZTE launches Blade S6 Lux smartphone with Android 5.0 Lollipop

ZTE has launched its Blade S6 Lux smartphone for the Chinese market. The phone is priced at CNY 1,999 for the Chinese customers.

The device is variant of Blade S6 smartphone, which was launched in January this year. Blade S6 Lux has enhanced features compared to its predecessor.

There is no word on the phone’s arrival to the Indian market. The Blade series has accounted for over 20 million units of ZTE’s global device sales.

The Blade S6 was launched in January 2015. It was touted as world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core smartphone running the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It was priced at $249.99.

Blade S6 4G LTE smartphone features Smart Sense gesture motion control, a ultra-high-definition camera, Hi-Fi Sound, ZTE’s MiFavor 3.0 user interface and ZTE’s AliveShare application for network-less communication.

It features a 5-inch HD display and is juiced by a 2400mAh battery.
