XOLO has announced the launch of the OPUS 3 smartphone. The latest addition to the OPUS series is priced at Rs 8,499.
The smartphone sports a 5 inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor backed up by 1GB RAM.
The smartphone has a compact design and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and boasts dual SIM capabilities.
The OPUS 3 sports an 8 MP rear camera with Sony Exmor R Sensor and dual flash and a 5MP front camera. The 5P Lens with f/2.0 aperture enables much sharper images.
The phone has 8GB internal storage and 32GB external storage via microSD card.
The device comes with motion control technology which makes the use of accelerometer and proximity sensor to control Music player, FM radio, Gallery, Camera and calls.
OPUS 3 also allows access to multiple apps via Float Task on a dual window operation mode and perform mulltitasking.
It is juiced up by a 2500 mAh battery and claims to deliver a good battery backup to the users.

The XOLO OPUS 3 is available for Rs. 8,499 at all authorized retail counters and modern trade outlets.
Recently, XOLO also released OTA update with various new features, performance enhancements and bug fixes for HIVE. The updates will enhance the performance and features of company’s software platform, HIVE.
HIVE allows users to share real-time feedback, new feature ideas, interact with the development team and other HIVE users through the CONNECT app.
New feature ideas and suggestions are analyzed by the development team and basis the voting for each new suggestion/ feedback; it is implemented in the form of OTA updates.
