Samsung has introduced Galaxy Mega 2, a phablet with a 6-inch screen with 720p resolution, in India for a price of Rs 20,900.
The Galaxy Mega 2 phablet, according to media reports, replaces last year’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy Mega 5.8.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, which is coming to India after the recent launch of Samsung Alpha and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The phablet has 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with microSD support up to 64GB.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 comes with an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Connectivity suite of the phablet includes of 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. The device is powered by a 2,800mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 competes with HTC Desire 816, Nokia Lumia 1320 and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra considering the price of the latest phablet.
