Lumia 535, the first Microsoft branded smartphone

Microsoft has finally revealed the Lumia 535, first smartphoone without Nokia branding. It is a dual SIM smartphone which is priced at Rs 8,400.

The sales will first start  in China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh, there is no information on the India pricing and release of the phone.

Lumia 535 has similar design to Lumia 530 which was launched earlier in 2014. The smartphone has rounded corners and a coloured back cover.

The device boasts a 5 inch qHD IPS LCD display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution and 220 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

The device has a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera and comes with 8GB internal storage and supports microSD card slots of up to 128GB for expansion.

The Lumia 535 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update and supports Cortana voice assistant. On the connectivity front it has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. It is fueled up by a 1905mAH battery.

Microsoft Lumia 535 will be available in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey, and black colour options.

The Lumia 930 is also available to consumers across the country at a price of Rs 38,649. The Lumia 930 is a premium smartphone with high end features. The device was launched by Microsoft few months back.

The Lumia 930 is Nokia’s new flagship smartphone featuring a 5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC paired with 2GB RAM.

The device sports a 20MP rear PureView camera which has optical image stabilization (OIS) and Carl Zeiss optics with a 1.2MP front camera.
