Lenovo is set to launch its A6000 smartphone on Jan 16. The phone was launched at the CES 2015 past week. The device will feature 4G LTE connectivity.
The Lenovo A6000 is most likely to challenge the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and will have a cost price below Rs.10,000.

The company will be selling the A6000 smartphone exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.
Lenovo is following the same strategy as Xiaomi and Micromax for sales of their device.
A6000 announced at CES was given a price tag of $169 (roughly Rs. 10,500), but Flipkart has confirmed the phone will be priced below Rs. 10,000 in India.
The price will be in competition with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (Rs. 9,999) and Yu Yureka (Rs 8,999).
Talking about the specifications, all these phones have 4G LTE connectivity.
The A6000 sports a 5 inch HD IPS display which is smaller compared to 5.5 inch displays of Redmi Note 4G and Yu Yureka.
The A6000 is powered by a 1.2 GHz 64-bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor while the Yureka has 1.5.GHz Snapdragon 615 Octa Core Processor and the Redmi Note 4G has 1.7 GHz octa core Cortex A7 processor.
Both Redmi Note and Yureka have 2GB RAM while the A6000 has 1GB RAM.
The A6000 has an 8MP rear camera compared to 13MP rear cameras of Redmi Note and Yureka. The A6000’s front camera is 2MP while the other two boasts a 5MP front camera.
Both A6000 and Redmi Note have 8GB of internal storage, whereas the Yureka has 16GB of internal storage capacity.
The A6000 is juiced by a 2300mAh battery, while the Yu Yureka has a 2500mAh battery. The Redmi Note has the largest 3100mAh battery among the three.
Looking at the specifications of A6000 it seems that the phone has nothing new to offer. But the phones that offer 4G LTE connectivity at low prices have always received a good response from the Indian customers.
