Lava has expanded its Iris X1 portfolio with the launch of its Iris X1 Grand and X1 Mini smartphones.
Lava Iris X1 Grand will be selling at a price of Rs 7,326 while the Iris X1 Mini is priced at 4,348. Both are variants of Lava Iris X1 which was launched in May 2014.

The Lava Iris X1 Grand sports a 5 inch FWVGA IPS display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core MTK6582M processor paired with 1GB RAM.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the future.
The Iris X1 Grand boasts an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The rear camera is powered by a BSI II sensor and can record videos in full-HD.
It has 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset is fuelled by a 2200mAh Li-Po battery.
The Lava Iris X1 Mini on the other hand has a 4 inch WVGA IPS display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution.
It is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The device runs the same Android 4.4 KitKat OS but the company has not confirmed on the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The X1 Mini boasts a 5MP rear camera with PureCel Sensor and LED flash, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 1750mAh battery.
