Idea has unveiled two new 3G smartphones, Idea Magna and Magna L. In addition Idea also launched a slew of 3G offers to foster the growth of mobile internet in India. The smartphones are priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively.
Idea will offer 16 GB 3G data, worth Rs. 3,200, for a nominal recharge of Rs 261 to the Idea smartphone buyers.
After the recharge, Idea users will get to use 4GB 3G data every month for the next 4 months. In addition to free data, customers will also get free subscription of Idea TV for 4 months.
It is the biggest ever bundled 3G data offer by any operator. It substantially reduces the cost of owning a smartphone and 3G connection.
The Magna and Magna L smartphones are targeted at youths, professionals and first time smartphone users, who are looking for a phone with essential features, at a low price.
Idea Magna L is a feature rich smartphone, powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor. It runs on Kitkat (4.4) OS.
It sports a bright 4.5 inch capacitive screen. It has a 5MP camera with flash and a VGA front camera.
Phone comes with unique guest mode for privacy and QR reader inbuilt in camera. It also carries in-built G sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor, and the box includes a Free Flip Cover.

Idea has also introduced a simple smartphone, Idea Magna which is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and features a 4 inch capacitive screen. The device has a 5MP rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera.
