Huawei Honor Holly to go on sale on 4th December via Flipkart

Huawei has announced that the Honor Holly smartphone will go on sale again from 4th December through the e-commerce channel Flipkart.

The smartphone was launched on October 16th on Flipkart, and the sales surpassed twenty thousand units within 5 days of its launch.

Honor is Huawei’s online brand & the all four Honor devices – Honor6, Honor Holly and Honor X1 tab and Honor T1 tablet were announced in India in October this year, exclusively available with Flipkart.

The Honor Holly is dual SIM smartphone that sports a 5 inch HD IPS display and is powered  by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

The device runs on a Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It sports an 8 MP BSI rear camera and a 2 MP front camera with 16GB internal memory.

Honor Holly natural ID is designed by Huawei’s London Design Center inspired by smooth and eroded pebbles with an idea of natural balance.

On the connectivity front it has WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. It is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery.

Honor Holly succeeded in achieving an average user rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Flipkart & received a good response from customers across markets. Huawei Honor Holly users also have compared the device with Redmi1S, AndroidOne and Moto E.

The re-sale of the phone is a result of the user request, about 1 lakh people have shown interest by using the “notify me, when back in stock” link.

The company selected Flipkart, to get a strong user base from the online market place. Huawei believes that users who are looking for Rs 9,000 to Rs 19,000 price range, are keen to buy from an online channel.

Through Flipkart, Huawei will sell Honor 6 and Honor Holly smartphones and Honor X1 and Honor T1 tablets.
