HTC has announced its Desire EYE for the Indian customers. The Desire EYE is a selfie-focused smartphone with a 13MP camera at the front alongside dual-LED flash.
The camera features a BSI sensor, f/2.2, and 22mm wide angle lens. The rear camera is also 13MP which also has dual LED flash. The rear camera features BSI sensor, f/2.0, and a 28mm wide angle lens.
The smartphone sports a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display. It is powered by 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

The device runs on Android KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on the top. It has dual front-facing speakers with BoomSound technology.
Desire EYE has 16GB of internal storage and can be extended up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and on the software front. The Desire EYE also features IPX7 certification, which makes it resistant to water and dust.

It is fueled by a 2400mAh Li-polymer battery which claims to provide up to 20 hours of talktime for 3G and 538 hours of standby time for 3G.

HTC has also introduced new camera software called HTC EYE Experience, which includes features like split capture, crop-me-in, and voice selfie among others.
The device also has Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor and Gyro sensor.
