Apple on Saturday announced iPhone 5c with a minimum exchange offer of Rs 5,000. The down payment for 16GB model will be Rs 9,000 and 9-month EMI will be Rs 3,150. The new offer is part of Valentines’ Day celebrations in India.
The 32 GB model of iPhone 5c is also available along with Rs 5,000 exchange offer, Apple said in an advertisement in leading media in Delhi.
The down payment for the 32 GB version will be Rs 21,590. The EMI offer for Apple iPhone 5c 32 GB will be the same as 16 GB.
In addition, both 16 GB and 32 GB models will attract a cash back of Rs 1500 if mobile users are buying iPhone 5c using a Stanchart credit card.
As part of Valentines’ Day in India, Apple also announced iPhone 5s at Rs 9,900 with 9-month EMI options.
Apple iPhone 5c is positioned as the low cost iPhone in India and other emerging mobile markets. But it did not receive enough attraction. Apple CEO Tim Cook during an analyst meet said the device major is confident of the success of iPhone 5c, despite negative feedback about its poor quality and pricing.
