Smartphone major Samsung India is likely to launch a couple of tablets on July 18.
The company has invited select media in Delhi for a device launch. The invitation does not say that the press meet will be for launching tablets.
Recently, Samsung launched Galaxy S4 mini, S4 Zoom, etc in the Indian mobile market. At present, it is planning to expand its tablet range as well.
Vineet Taneja, country head, Samsung Mobile and Digital Imaging Business, will be attending the press meet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is one of Samsung’s newest arrivals. In Australia’s Mobicity, the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8GB Wi-Fi) costs $289.95.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is the largest tablet in Samsung’s third generation line of mainstream Android tablets.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 runs on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom dual core Clovertrail CPU more often found on low end Windows 8 tablets, and it has a gig of RAM and 16 gigs of internal storage.
