Reliance, Airtel to launch iPhone 5c at Rs 43,000 and iPhone 5s at Rs 55,000

Reliance Communications is the first Indian telecom operator to officially announce the launch of Apple iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s smartphones in the country. Both phones will be available in India from 1 November. Airtel is also offering these devices.

The price of Apple iPhone 5c will be around Rs 43,000, while iPhone 5s, the premium smartphone will cost you around Rs 55,000.

The telecom service provider will offer unlimited data, voice, STD, SMS, roaming as part of its bundling deal with Apple. Terms are being worked out.


Reliance Communications did not share the price of the two phones. It will announce more details about the final price and data offers later.

However, sources say iPhone 5c will cost around Rs 41,900 and iPhone 5s will be priced at around Rs 53,500 in India.

Meanwhile, Airtel also announced that it would bring Apple’s latest iPhones to India.
