Nokia Asha 501 to hit Thailand and Pakistan this week, India later

Nokia Asha 501, the new smartphone on the Asha OS platform, will hit mobile markets of Thailand and Pakistan this week. India launch will be later, the smartphone vendor said.


E-commerce portal Flipkart is taking pre-order of Nokia Asha 501 at Rs 5,299 (including taxes).

Nokia on Monday formally announced that the Nokia Asha 501 will start selling this week in Thailand and Pakistan, with availability in India soon to follow. The new device will roll out in subsequent weeks across countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

The suggested retail price for the Nokia Asha 501 is 99 USD before taxes and local subsidies.
