Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch to be available in summer

Motorola will launch Moto 360, a smart watch, powered by Android Wear, in the second quarter of 2014.

Initial launch will be in the U.S.

With this new launch, Motorola is taking on competitions like LG and Google.

Moto 360 smart watch not only keeps you on time and up to date but also tells users what they need to know through subtle alerts and notifications.  With just a twist of the wrist users can see who is calling or sending emails.

Moto 360 also responds to voice. Users can ask questions to Google like what time the flight leaves or getting things done like scheduling appointment, sending a text, setting an alarm or taking a note.

The design of Moto 360 is especially appealing. It features a round face and is made of premium materials, Motorola said.

Motorola has partnered with Broadcom, Imagination, Intel, Mediatek and Qualcomm for this product.
