Nokia India, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy, is set to expand its reach in rural India with a three-year sales contract with HCL Infosystems.
Microsoft Mobile aims at expanding the reach of its devices across the organized trade and general trade channels and rural India, said HCL Infosystems in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
HCL Infosystems has a network of over 100,000 retail outlets, 800 direct distributors and 12,400 channel partners across 15,000 towns and 664 districts in India.
