LG has launched ‘The Great Indian Selfie’ campaign, in an attempt to create the largest online selfie canvas in the world.
LG invites smartphone users in the country to be a part of the world’s largest selfie canvas by simply clicking their selfie at an LG Selfie Smile Click Studio and upload on the company’s website.
The Selfie Smile Click Studios will be set up in 11 Indian cities which include Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai between 19th to 21st December and in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Cochin between 26th to 28th December.
Users can visit these studios and get themselves clicked using LG’s unique gesture selfie based Smartphones. The Selfie Smile Click Studio will feature a wide range of LG smartphones including G3, G3 Beat, G3 Stylus, L Bello and L Fino.
One of the best features of these smartphones is its ability to take gesture selfies, without making an effort or pressing any button, which makes clicking selfies easy and fun.

With this campaign, the company aims to enter into record books renowned in the world.
Recently LG also recently appointed Juno Cho as the new head for its smartphone business. The appointment is part of a major reshuffling of top management at LG.
He replaced Jong-seok Park, who is moving into the newly created position of chief technology advisor.
Cho has knowledge of LG’s mobile operations, having previously led LG’s mobile business strategy and sales and marketing for North America from 2001-2007.
