BSNL collaborates with Call2Action for Mobile Advertising Ecosystem

BSNL has joined hands with Call2Action Communication for a new Mobile Advertising Ecosystem. The telecom giant is expected to create a disruption in Mobile Advertising with innovative reward-based mobile advertising promotions.

The company will offer its subscribers some reward points after they allow advertisements to appear on their phones. These advertisements will be made available on the phones via SMSes and calls. Notably, advertisements will be available on the My BSNL app once the customers give their consent.

The points earned can be redeemed with partnered retailers. Not only this, but one can use the points to pay monthly bills and book movie tickets. The service is now in process and will be made available from July. RK Mittal, Director (Consumer Mobility), BSNL said that this partnership will provide a wide range of innovative services to the customer and will also help them in winning some reward points.

Once a subscriber gives the consent, advertisements will be shown as per the customer’s areas of interests. These ads will be informative, interactive and will give users an option to respond to the ads for knowing more about the product as per the company. To avail the service, the user can download My BSNL app from Google Play store or App store. In terms of revenue, it will be shared between Call2Action communication and BSNL.
