BlackBerry adds new apps — Star Tracker, Bump, Mustache Mood Detector

Smartphone vendor BlackBerry today announced new apps – including Star Tracker, Bump, Mustache Mood Detector — to improve your day to day life.

Some of these apps are free to use, while cost of few apps is between Rs 50 and Rs 100.

BlackBerry said Bump, a free app, allows you to backup and restore pictures, ringtones, video clips etc., this is done wirelessly over the air or via Wi-Fi if your phone supports it.

Star Tracker is yet another app from BlackBerry, the Ontario, Canada-based smartphone vendor. The cost of Star Tracker is Rs 150. You can hold up and point the device at the sky to see what stars, constellations and deep sky objects you are looking at in real-time. This app has a super reaction speed and high accuracy.


The cost of Mustache Mood Detector is Rs 50. BlackBerry says Moodstache is a fun app for mustache enthusiasts. Moodstache finds a mustache for your current mood.

NodeBeat Play apps allows you to create your own music in minutes or listen to NodeBeat generate its own. Using NodeBeat Play apps – priced at Rs 100, you can save and record your creations to share with your friends.

iSpeech Translator is a free app that assists you to speak and translate words or phrases including email or text (SMS) in multiple languages.

Sleep Cycles App Alarm – priced at Rs 150 — is an intelligent alarm clock. The app analyzes your sleeping patterns to let you know when you are in your deepest sleep and wakes you when you are in the lightest sleep.
