Asus to launch Fonepad 7 dual SIM on Tuesday

Asus will launch Fonepad 7 dual SIM on Tuesday in Delhi.

Fonepad 7 dual SIM will be announced at a press meet.

The press meet will be attended by Peter Chang, regional head – South Asia, country manager – System Business Group, Asus India; and Apratim Sharma, country product manager – System Business Group, Asus India.

In October 2013, Asus India launched Fonepad 7, a 7-inch calling tablet, at a price of Rs 17,499. Nexus 7C, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T211, iBall Q9703, Simmtronics Xpad Freedom, iberry Auxus CoreX4 3G, Micromax Canvas Tab P650 and Lenovo Idea Tab A3000 were some of its rivals at that point of time.

Fonepad 7 is powered by an Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology for seamless multi-tasking performance with Android 4.2. The 7-inch display has 1280 x 800 resolution with IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology for wide viewing.

At the Mobile World Congress 2014, Asus unveiled two new phablets in its Fonepad series: Fonepad 7 LTE (ME372CL) and Fonepad 7 (ME175CG). Fonepad 7 LTE (ME372CL) is a 7-inch phablet with built-in LTE connectivity and phone functionality. It is characterized by blazingly fast data speeds, capable of delivering streaming video and music without a hitch and makes web browsing responsive and snappy.
