Apple iPhone 5s smartphones face battery issues

Apple iPhone 5s smartphones are facing battery issues.

These damaged batteries are causing the battery to drain fast and taking more time to charge.  However this is limited to only few units, Apple said recently.

There is no need to worry. The U.S.-based devices major said that the damaged units, which have manufacturing defects, will be replaced by them.

Apple did not share information on the number of units that are facing the issues and also the batch.

Earlier, consumers complained that the motion sensors such as Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Level and Compass sensors are not working properly.  The issue was fixed with the iOS 4.0.3 update. Apple has also improved system stability of the phone.

Apple iPhone 5S and 5C were launched on September 10.  Nine million units were sold in three days from the day of launching it on September 20. In India, both smartphones are facing out of stock as Apple imported limited number of smartphones.
